EHS CONSULTANT – ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING DIVISION
This is an on-site position – working out of TTI’s office and clients’ sites.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct client training (i.e. hazard communication, respiratory protection, LOTO, spill prevention, etc.)
- Proposal writing when requested
- Assist with evaluating regulatory compliance of facilities
- Provide on-site support for client operations in industrial and educational campus settings, including monitoring programs associated with OSHA and other applicable site-specific safety plans
- Provide support to the development, implementation, and management of safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable environmental standards
- Assist clients with local, state, and federal EHS regulations, permitting, training, reporting, and corporate policies/procedures for assigned locations
Skills & Qualifications:
- TRI, SARA, and CRTK reporting under EPCRA
- Occupational exposure monitoring experience
- Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) and DPCC planning
- Experience working with regulators to resolve NOVs and other issues
- Attention to detail and capability to analyze data and make sound conclusions
- Strong aptitude for organization, prioritization and managing multiple tasks and projects
- Stormwater planning and permitting
- Air permitting support and emission source registration (RADIUS experience a plus)
- Hazardous waste management and reporting support
- Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
- Experience with federal and state workers’ safety regulations
- Proficient in MS Office suite and environmental reporting software
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel and work at local and remote sites as needed
- 5 plus years of EHS industry experience
- Must have a personal vehicle for independent transportation to work sites when required
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
Annual Salary: $70-80k, negotiable commensurate with credentials, education, and experience.
SITE SUPERVISOR/FOREMAN – CONSTRUCTION & CONTRACTING DIVISION
Knowledge of environmental construction services is required especially with knowledge of petroleum equipment system installations, demolition and remediation, concrete, masonry, etc. Ideal applicants will have strong mechanical visualization and analytical skills, attention to detail, with excellent verbal and organizational skills. Travel is required.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret project specifications and plans to effectively execute project scopes
- Direct, supervise and mentor field personnel to complete projects in accordance with plans, specifications, and company policies.
- Manage clients, regulators, subcontractors, and project management team to achieve project goals.
- Complete daily reporting, safety inspections and site safety meetings.
- Management of site activities and site safety in accordance with company policies and client expectations

- 40-hour OSHA certification a plus
- Local travel required (Monday-Friday).

Pay: $65,000 to $105,000 annual salary

ASBESTOS PROJECT MONITOR, NYC REGION – INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE DIVISION
This is an on-site position – working out of TTI’s office and clients’ sites. We are seeking NYSDOL licensed applicants for the position of Asbestos Project Monitor. Work will be throughout NJ, NY State, and the five boroughs of NYC.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing asbestos remediation projects for numerous clients
- Managing a variety of projects to ensure scope and schedules are met
- Performing various fieldwork tasks, such as calibrate and operate air sample and personnel exposure equipment, perform mathematical calculations, obtain media, collect relevant data, submit samples for laboratory analysis, observe field conditions, and document events
- Preparing project-related paperwork and documentation
Requirements:
- Valid active NY DOL Asbestos Project Monitor/ Air Sampling Technician Certificate
- 3+ years of related work experience (preferably in the role of Industrial Hygiene Technician and/or Senior Industrial Hygiene Consultant)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to successfully pass a pre-employment screening and physical
- The ability to travel, work in the field, work outdoors, and lift 50 lbs.
- A plus: Associate or BS in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Biology, Chemistry, Public Health, Environmental Science, or related field
Day and evening hours with occasional weekend work.
Compensation:$22-30/hour, commensurate with credentials, education, and experience.
