Aboveground (AST) & Underground (UST) Tank Management
Storage tank programs offer a full range of service capabilities from permitting through remediation. We perform installations and upgrades, tank cleaning, maintenance, integrity testing and inspections, cathodic protection systems compliance audits and training and environmental tank closures. To satisfy Federal Regulations and accommodate individual facility needs, we work closely with clients to develop and implement an SPCC plan. Environmental Consulting
Environmental Assessments are performed with knowledgeable oversight and comprehensive documentation throughout all phases of investigation and in accordance with recognized industry standards. TTI’s staff includes scientists experienced in Phase I Assessments and Phase II Site Investigations, soil & groundwater remediation design and management, Preliminary Assessment (PA), ISRA Case Management, hydrogeological studies, Brownfield Remedial Programs, environmental tank closures, day care licensing and historic fill remediation. These services are led by an experienced team of LSRPs with engineering, geological and environmental science backgrounds.
Environmental Health & Safety
TTI’s staff has direct experience in managing EHS programs for industrial, academic, and R&D clients. TTI’s “hands on” experience enables us to provide clients with cost effective solutions to complex EHS regulatory issues. Our specialists are proficient at achieving regulatory compliance and helping clients meet best management practices, providing guidance with Permitting, Risk Management Programs, Monitoring, Recordkeeping and Reporting, Training Presentations, OSHA Auditing and ISO 14001 Auditing. To satisfy Federal Regulations and accommodate individual facility needs, we work closely with clients to develop and implement an SPCC plan.
Industrial Hygiene
TTI, one of the oldest and most experienced asbestos management firms in the Northeast, is committed to understanding clients’ business processes, potential health hazards and associated risks. Comprehensive abatement design and monitoring services are based upon state-of-the-art science and accepted practices. Industrial Hygienists inspect facilities and perform sampling/monitoring services for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Right to Know (RTK) Asbestos, Lead and Mold investigations as well as remediation and industrial hygiene exposure assessments. Staff includes asbestos professionals, lead inspectors and indoor air consultants, who are licensed or certified through USEPA, state environmental agencies and health departments.
Inspection
Inspections (API and STI) are performed on storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping and new equipment utilizing a complete line of NDE services and engineering evaluations. We are experts on inspection criteria of API Standards 653, 570 and 510, STI Standard SP001 and AWWA D100. Comprehensive inspections meet or exceed established requirements and State and Federal criteria guidelines including NJDEP, PADEP, NYDEC, MDE, DNREC and API, STI SPOO1, DPCC, RCRA, TSCA, and SPCC Regulations.
Remediation Services and Environmental Construction
Storage tank systems, fuel systems and tank construction are performed with understanding of today’s stringent regulations and issues of safety, schedule, budget and site conditions. We provide clients with quality construction exceeding regulatory compliance as well as facilities logistical and business needs. TTI has expertise in determining best remedial approaches in site restoration, building and equipment decontamination, demolition and decommissioning. Secondary containment capability includes construction of protective features for a spill prevention control and countermeasure plans. Construction services include tank removal and tank installations.
