TTI’s Director of Industrial Hygiene, Jim Guilardi and Associate Director Susan Thames provided lunch and presented on Asbestos Awareness to nearly 60 people at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on March 22, 2017. Topics included Regulations on asbestos, Background information on asbestos, Location of ACM in buildings, Health effects of asbestos, recognition of ACM damage and how to avoid exposure to safety officers, engineers and environmental personnel from the 787 CES, NAVIR, US Air National Guard, US Army Corps of Engineers, and 87 CES.
