TTI attends SAME 2017 Federal Agency Program Briefings

TTI’s Susan Thames attended the Society of American Military Engineer’s (SAME) DoD and Federal Agency Briefings this week in Bethesda, MD. She was one of the 400 attendees. The event provided forecasts and insights on the upcoming design, engineering, construction, and environmental programs of the Department of Defense and several other Federal Agencies. Presenting agencies this year included the US Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Command,, Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Army Installation Management Command, Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Bureau of Overseas Building Operations, US Forest Service, Department of Energy, Department of Veterans Affairs, and the National Nuclear Security Administration. Speakers were very optimistic with the new administration and the financial outlook for Fiscal Year 2019. Improving our infrastructure was a common theme throughout many presentations.
