Safe + Sound Week is a nationwide event held each August that recognizes the successes of workplace health and safety programs and offers information and ideas on how to keep America’s workers safe and recognizes the the adoption of programs to improve workplace safety and health. The OSHA Safe + Sound program offers resources to implementing a safety and health program, through management leadership, worker participation and risk management. A comprehensive EHS program is imperative to protecting a companies most valuable asset, it’s employees, and will always improve businesses’ safety and health performance, reduce risk and improve project flow.
TTI’s participation in the Safe+Sound Week 2022 program, August 15-21, was led by Patricia Stock, EHS Manager and Inspection Division Director. Employees participated in completing safety quizzes and games, offering both education and some fun, healthy competition. The topic focus for TTI was preventing heat illness and all of the activities were logged in to share with OSHA.
