Contaminated Site Remediation & Redevelopment (CSRR) has introduced a new certification for soil remediation applications. This form, known as the LSRP Supplemental Certification for Initial Soil RAP Application, is available for both pending and new applications. It requires completion by a Licensed Site Remediation Professional hashtag LSRP. The new form is intended to speed up an enormous delay in permit approval process.
The LSRP must fill out the Certification Criteria, Section A, and Section B. Section C is optional and only used in unique situations where the LSRP believes additional information is necessary to justify their professional judgment. This form is critical for accurate information, as the Department relies on it. It emphasizes adherence to environmental laws, prioritizing public health, safety, and environmental protection over any contractual agreements with clients.
CSRR encourages LSRPs, in collaboration with the remediation party, to submit this form. Doing so allows for a quicker permit issuance based on the certification, contributing to the overall goal of reducing application backlogs.
It is available in the Forms Library under Remedial Action Permits: https://www.nj.gov/dep/srp/srra/forms/
