Employee Spotlight: Trevor F. Mays
TTI is pleased to welcome Trevor F. Mays as Project Manager and Pennsylvania Due Diligence Regional Leader in our Environmental Consulting Division. He brings nearly a decade of experience in environmental consulting, site investigation, and risk-based remediation, supporting clients across the Mid-Atlantic region with complex environmental challenges. In his role, Trevor will oversee Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), PADEP Act 2 projects, and remedial site investigations, while building client relationships and mentoring technical staff to further strengthen TTI’s Pennsylvania operations.
Trevor joins TTI from Antea Group in Cherry Hill, NJ, where he served as a Senior Project Professional preparing risk-based closure reports, managing site investigations, and coordinating remedial activities for energy utilities and real estate developers. His earlier experience with Stantec, Solitude Lake Management, and Property Solutions, Inc. provided a strong foundation in both fieldwork and project management, including environmental insurance claims, UST closures, and groundwater remediation.
A graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, Trevor holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with a minor in Biological Sciences and is certified in OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER, First Aid, CPR, and AED. “Trevor brings a blend of technical expertise and leadership that will be invaluable as we continue to expand our environmental consulting services throughout Pennsylvania,” said Kristin Heimburger, Director of Environmental Consulting, adding “His experience across multiple sectors allows him to understand the nuances of complex sites and deliver practical, effective solutions for our clients.”

Employee Spotlight: Rachel Schafer
TTI is pleased to spotlight Rachel Schafer, a Project Manager delivering environmental solutions to clients across the region. She supports client outreach, sales, networking, and project oversight, with a focus on due diligence, soil and groundwater sampling, and evaluating sites for potential hazardous materials. In her role, Rachel manages and develops due diligence client relationships in New Jersey, prepares and reviews Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments as a qualified ASTM Environmental Professional, and oversees proposal development, project budgets, invoicing, and reporting for NJDEP and PADEP Act 2 projects.
Rachel joined TTI in November 2025 and brings a strong track record in environmental due diligence and site remediation. Prior to TTI, she served as an Assistant Project Manager at Brockerhoff Environmental Services, LLC, where she prepared and reviewed Phase I and Phase II ESAs, developed proposals, completed project invoices, and oversaw or performed field activities for due diligence and remediation projects. She began her career as an Environmental Scientist at Marathon Engineering & Environmental Services, Inc., preparing Phase I and Phase II ESAs and conducting fieldwork, including groundwater sampling using low-flow and volume-based methods.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Stockton University (2019). Her combination of technical due diligence experience, client-focused project management, and regional regulatory knowledge makes her a key contributor as we continue to grow TTI’s Environmental Consulting Division.
