As we close out May 2025, TTI Environmental, Inc. proudly marks its 40th anniversary since its founding in 1985. From humble beginnings as a small tank testing firm in Moorestown, New Jersey, TTI has grown into a nationally recognized leader in integrated environmental services—driven by innovation, client service and a commitment to environmental stewardship.
A Legacy Built on Integrity and Expertise
Founded by William Dolan under the original name “Tank Testing,” TTI began as a three-person firm specializing in underground fuel storage tank inspections. These early compliance services laid the foundation for TTI’s deep-rooted expertise in environmental risk management and regulatory support.
Over the past four decades, TTI has steadily expanded its service offerings and technical capabilities. Today, the company delivers a full range of services including environmental consulting, contracting, industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety (EH&S), tank management, inspections and laboratory analysis. Our team of scientists, LSRPs, geologists and field professionals now supports clients across the United States—from federal agencies to Fortune 500 companies.
Visionary Leadership for a Changing Industry
Following the passing of founder William Dolan, Craig Durand has continued to lead TTI as President and part owner. Under his leadership, TTI has continued to grow and diversify, staying ahead of regulatory and technological changes while maintaining a strong client-centered focus. Craig credits TTI’s longevity and success to its dedicated team and long-standing client relationships. These core strengths continue to propel the company forward as it embraces emerging technologies, deepens its sustainability efforts, tackles evolving environmental challenges, and mentors the next generation of professionals.
