TTI is proud to announce its award as the prime contractor in a significant infrastructure project at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) in Washington, DC. As certified Underground Storage Tank (UST) Contractors for the Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) for the District of Columbia, TTI will self-perform specialized services for the Defense Army and Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) gas station.

Project Overview: AAFES UST Replacement
The AAFES UST project entails the replacement of critical underground storage tanks and related components to ensure safe and efficient fuel storage. The scope of work includes:
- Replacing six under dispenser containment sumps
- Installing four 12,000-gallon underground fiberglass reinforced plastic gasoline storage tanks
- Upgrading associated piping, fittings, monitoring systems, and accessories
The project also involves the removal of old tanks and sumps, excavation and backfilling of trenches, testing and commissioning of the new system, and seamless coordination with AAFES personnel. Certified underground storage tank technicians will perform all fuel tank work in strict compliance with environmental regulations to ensure safety and adherence to standards.
