Project Scientist 1 – Environmental Consulting

TTI is seeking a motivated individual to fill an entry‐level position as Project Scientist 1 in the Environmental Consulting Division, which serves clients in NJ, PA, NY and surrounding areas. This position is for our HQ Moorestown, NJ office. The individual should be local to South Jersey. TTI offers technical and management challenges, a collaborative team environment and the opportunity for growth. This position is an opportunity for the right individual to grow and settle into higher level positions.

Requirements:

• A B.S. or M.S. in a related field such as Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Ecology, Chemistry or Environmental Engineering
• Zero to three years direct regional experience in environmental consulting and/or due diligence
• OSHA 40‐Hour Hazardous Waste Operator Certification a plus
• Excellent computer skills
• Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with ability to write clear, concise, and thorough technical environmental reports
• Mapping capabilities a plus
• Health and safety conscience
• US citizenship or legal resident status
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Job Responsibilities:

• Field sampling, including soil, groundwater, and vapor
• Oversight of field investigations including well installation/abandonment, geophysics, etc.
• Technical support on project teams, alongside senior staff
• Knowledge of environmental regulations in coverage areas (NJDEP, PADEP)
• Technical report writing
• Assistance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control program
