Now Hiring – Senior Industrial Hygiene Field Technician

TTI is seeking a full-time Senior Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our Industrial Hygiene Division. This is a hybrid position – working in the field with occasional trips to TTI’s Moorestown office. Facility based assignments are anticipated for this role. Current Industrial Hygiene certifications are required for this role; candidate should have related project experience with Asbestos, Lead Paint, and Indoor Air Quality investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection and on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air quality
  • Conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead based paint, right to know, and mold
  • Perform air monitoring and contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects
  • Maintain, operate, and calibrate a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment
  • Technical report writing and interpretation of analytical data
  • Timeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies are vital
  • Assignments are of varying complexity and under direction of a project manager

Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and building construction
  • High School or Mechanical/Trade School Diploma
  • Associate or B.S. in Environmental Science preferred
  • Exhibit clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
  • General computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Independent thinking and self-motivation are essential

Requirements

  • Asbestos, Lead Paint, and IAQ certifications are required
  • Minimum of 4 years’ relative industrial hygiene and field experience is required
  • Ability to commute to remote sites as needed
  • Willingness to work limited weekends and second shift
  • Ability to perform field work and meet physical demands
  • Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment and use ladders
  • Willingness to learn, complete training, and obtain various certifications
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening and physical
  • Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Shift: Day and evening hours with occasional weekend work.

Compensation: $28.00-$34.00 hourly commensurate with credentials, education, and experience.
