API/STI Inspector Position – Full & Part Time
Responsibilities:
- Performs or assists in the completion of API inspections on pressure vessels, piping and storage tanks
- Review as built drawings and ability to sketch tank, vessel and piping equipment systems for CAD drawings
- Works independently as crew lead on job sites
- Supervise NDT Technicians on job site
- Prepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner
- Understands and utilizes safe work practices including lock-out/tag-out, confined space, etc.
- Willingness to work long hours
Required Credentials:
- Current API 510 and/or 570, and STI SP001 certifications required
- Formal training in nondestructive testing required
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER and confined space training required
Inspection Field Technician Position – Full & Part Time
The field technician hire will assist our growing division with the mechanical integrity inspection of aboveground storage tanks, vessels, piping and other process equipment at petrochemical, pharmaceutical, energy production and military facilities locally and nationwide.
- Prior experience in the industry is not required.
- Ideal applicants will have strong mechanical visualization and analytical skills, attention to detail, with excellent verbal and organizational skills.
- This position can be physically demanding, and candidates should be in good physical shape, have the ability to work in environments with extreme heat or cold temperatures, lift and/or move 50 pounds or greater, work effectively in confined spaces or at heights.
- In addition to field activities, technicians will assist certified inspectors with the preparation of technical reports in the office, and should have computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Field inspections occasionally require overnight travel and candidates should have the ability to travel for 1 to 5 days at a time (generally home on weekends).
New Equipment Inspector Position – Full & Part Time
Required Technical Knowledge:
- Welding processes: SMAW-GTAW-GMAW/FCAW-SAW-PAW
- TEMA Standards, ASME Codes applicable to pressure retaining equipment, piping, rotating equipment, and valves
- AWS D1.1
- NDT: VT-LPT-MPT-UTT-RT
- Blueprint/shop drawing interpretation
- Dimensional inspection
Required Credentials:
- 40 Hour HAZWOPER and confined space training required
- AWS-CWI, ASNT NDT Level II, API 510 certifications not required but a plus

Required Experience and Skills for All Candidates
- All candidates should have a high school diploma, college diploma preferably, will be expected to pass a background check, medical screening, drug testing, and have a clean driving record.
- Detail-oriented self-starting team player with a strong work ethic
- Seller/doer with a strong client focus, professional presence and good communication skills
- Computer skills required: proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness
- Mechanically inclined. Excellent field drawing and note-taking skills
- Familiar with reading ISO drawings
- Follow process and procedures
- Must be able to work off ladders and scaffolding
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Willingness to travel on out-of-town assignments
- Willingness to work long hours
