Giving Back – Wiley Church Food Pantry & Recycle Beyond the Bag

December 1, 2022 //  by Tina Beittel

TTI is happy to support staff and their families who are involved in giving back to very worthwhile programs.  We value our communities and welcome any donations.

FOOD DRIVE

Since it’s inception in 1996 the Wiley Church Food Pantry serves over fifty families from surrounding communities. For over 26 years dedicated volunteers and donations from individuals and businesses have provided support for this worthy cause. TTI is running a canned food and good drive until December 12. Donations are always welcome. For more information visit https://wiley.church/foodpantry

RECYCLE BEYOND THE BAG

We’re collecting plastic bags to help keep unwanted plastic out of landfills. TTI is supporting Riverside High School’s Recycle Challenge. November marked the official start of the 16th Annual Trex® Plastic Film Recycling Challenge. Trex Company, the world’s largest manufacturer of composite decking and railing, challenges K–12 students from across the country to collect and recycle as much polyethylene (PE) plastic film as possible for the chance to win cash prizes and high–performance Trex outdoor living products for their schools. Those interested in participating in the 2022–23 program may enroll online at NexTrex.com. The Trex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge brings together thousands of schools and students from coast to coast in a joint effort to make a global impact on plastic waste. For more information about this program, visit Trex – Recycling.
